Nearly 100,000 cruise passengers arrived at Jamaica’s new Falmouth cruise port between February and April, making the new facility the country’s busiest cruise terminal, overtaking Ocho Rios, said Port Authority (PAJ) and Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) officials quoted in local news reports.
Falmouth hosted its first cruise ship Feb. 17 and celebrated its official opening in March. Construction on the facility’s restaurants, retail shops and transportation center continue.
